Expect to sweat a lot. Hot yoga is practiced in a humid, seriously heated studio, and the first few minutes are mostly your body adjusting to it. Come with an open mind; the room does a lot of the work.
Light, breathable clothing you are comfortable sweating through. Most students practice in shorts or leggings and a fitted top, whatever you would wear for the sweatiest workout of your week.
Hydrate: we recommend one gallon of water in the 12–24 hours before class. Good hydration supports every system in the body and makes the heat more comfortable. It is also a mandatory safety precaution for first-time students.
Come on an empty stomach: large meals 3–4 hours before class; light healthy snacks like fruit, veggies or nuts are fine 1.5–2 hours before. Yoga feels best when the body is not busy digesting.
Arrive early: create an online account and register before your first visit. Doors open 10 minutes before class. Arriving early makes check-in smooth, and we will give you a studio tour.
